This paper speaks about the presence of pupils with foreign origins in Italian schools, one of the most significant phenomena that has affected the school system in recent years. It can be asserted that, hand in hand with a trend towards reunification and stabilization of migrant families, foreign minors have increased considerably and, consequently, the number of foreign pupils in schools has also increased. Daily contact with pupils of different national and cultural origins has led educators, teachers, managers, scholars to rethink teaching methods, relationships and relational interactions. The various expressions of diversity – somatic, cognitive, linguistic, cultural, etc. – correspond to the identity characteristics of each individual. These differences can generate misunderstandings and conflicts, but also comparison and exchange. Flexibility, didactic and organizational adaptation but above all the ability to perceive any diversity as a source of mutual enrichment are necessary for the acceptance and inclusion of each student.

Abstract
Flexibility, didactic and organizational adaptation but above all the ability to perceive any diversity as a source of mutual enrichment are necessary for the acceptance and inclusion of each student.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
