Focus of this article is the documentation, interpretation, valorisation and communication of Roman city of Casinum, particularly thriving near the end of the republic and later in the imperial era of Rome. This archaeological area, despite the interest and the importance of its monuments, was studied from a primarily archaeological point of view and is still without a structured survey, in order to exploit the site in its entirety. We will start from the description of the various moments from a historical point of view with the support of drawings and surveing of some great architect of the Renaissance. Then we will move on to the analysis and documentation phase with an integrated digital survey that brings together three distinct methodologies: topographic, laser scanning, photogrammetric: since each of these techniques has distinct characteristics in terms of costs, methods of acquisition, processing and management of the data. Infact this archaelogical area is strongly integrated with the existing urban center of Cassino, and also has archaeological emergencies of different type, size, state of conservation and construction features.

Abstract
Infact this archaelogical area is strongly integrated with the existing urban center of Cassino, and also has archaeological emergencies of different type, size, state of conservation and construction features.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
