Valutazione della vulnerabilità sismica degli aggregati in muratura : il caso di Borgo San Rocco a Sora (Italia)

Italian urban centers are mostly characterized by masonry building aggregates, the result of unplanned development and assembly of buildings of different ages, materials, constructions techniques, constructions details. The evaluation of the seismic vulnerability of these realities is, therefore, intrinsically connected to the knowledge of their constructive history and of their transformations. In fact, the methods of analysis for the evaluation of seismic safety, as well as their reliability, are closely linked to the level of knowledge. The attention to these systems is demonstrated by the studies available in the current literature and by the specific indications introduced in the recent versions of the Italian codes. In this work is presented the evaluation of the seismic vulnerability of two building aggregates located in Borgo San Rocco of the municipality of Sora through a procedure that highlights the close link between the level of geometric / structural survey and methods of analysis of seismic vulnerability.
