Abstract

After stressing that sustainability is one of the main pillar of Olympism, the authors utilize a hermeneutical approach focused on history, ethics and economics to understand and interpret the sports’ impact on environment and human life. The authors of the contribution state that sustainability in sport is still a challenge, and that not all the sports are sustainable.
