Abstract

The Analysis of Emergency Limit Condition (CLE) is an Italian legislative measure recently introduced in the context of seismic risk prevention and Cultural Heritage preservation. It mainly aims at evaluating the interference of buildings respect to emergency routs by simply considering the global overturning out-of- plane mechanism of perimeter facades. This paper presents a new and effective methodology devoted to improve the evaluation of the interference throughout an integrated automatic procedure which merges the evidences of field surveys with a graphic/parametric 3D modeling (BIM).
