Focus of this paper is the documentation and valorisation of a very special architectural heritage: the WW2 Cemeteries in Cassino & Montecassino territory to preserve and to transmit the memory of different people. These Monuments was built by Polish, English, German, French and Italian Governments for a total of 30,000 graves. Even today these cemeteries are maintained by these Governments and visited by a lot of people of various nationalities. Our research is orientated not only to celebrating the sacrifice and the identity of the soldiers who lost their lives in the war events, but also as a call for the reconciliation of peoples and the construction of a culture of peace
