Figures and achievements in MMS as landmarks in history of MMS for inspiration of IFToMM activity

Significance of the past technology in MMS can be highlighted by identifying figures and achievements that had relevant impacts in the evolution of MMS. The concept of Landmark is proposed and can be properly used for such an emphasis of the past with a modern valorisation of the past, even for fruition by large public. In this paper aspects and evaluations are proposed for Landmark identification of past achievements and past figures in MMS. Examples are briefly discussed both in figures and achievements to clarify the landmark MMS values, even from the recent history of IFToMM.
