The paper deals with the residential patterns of migrant population settled in Rome. Two shares make up the work. The first, using data from the official source regarding the de jure population (Population Register of Rome), draws an update map of the settlement of foreign population. The second, using data from the source administrative election of councilors representing non-EU nationals in Rome (referred also to the de facto population), concern the settlement patterns of the four communities (Filipinos, Bangladeshis, Chinese, Sri Lankan-) who expressed the highest levels of political participation in this election. To take into account any special features of the districts in the study (we refer in particular to the historical center) this section presents some housing indicators using information on place of usual residence of the foreigner with the available electoral roll.
