The last decades have seen in Italy a growing interest towards rural tourism, with a consequent raise in service and facility demands aimed to holiday making and/or farm staying, so as that today this type of holiday has acquired the characteristics of a real market sector with a non negligible economical and financial relevance. Agritourism represent an important economical resource for the management of farms, especially for small farms that are not able to compete with bigger activities. It is in this context that agritourism is to be considered as an important means of recovery of marginal farm areas.
