This paper contains a review of Human Reliability Analysis (HRA) developments since its inception. The aim of this paper is a review on the methodological developments rather than reporting its applications that have appeared since its introduction. There are many and varied methods available for HRA; for this reason our review try to identify the range of qualitative and quantitative HRA techniques available in order to carry out an assessment of their strengths and weaknesses.
