The recovery and recycling of plastics appears to be rather important for reasons related to sustainable development as it contributes to a reduction in expenditure of natural resources and emission into the environment due to incinerators and dumps. Furthermore, it also favours the creation of new areas of activities, as in the case of the recovery process analysed. Therefore, in this specific case the effective development of recycling is correlated to the capacity of reducing costs of the relative operations by increasing in the meantime the quality of recycled products, so that the quality-price ratio may be competitive compared with that of the original products. We have developed our case study on the above, with the objective of simplifying the recycling process of plastics with a relative economic and environmental feasibility analysis.

Abstract
The recovery and recycling of plastics appears to be rather important for reasons related to sustainable development as it contributes to a reduction in expenditure of natural resources and emission into the environment due to incinerators and dumps. Furthermore, it also favours the creation of new areas of activities, as in the case of the recovery process analysed. Therefore, in this specific case the effective development of recycling is correlated to the capacity of reducing costs of the relative operations by increasing in the meantime the quality of recycled products, so that the quality-price ratio may be competitive compared with that of the original products. We have developed our case study on the above, with the objective of simplifying the recycling process of plastics with a relative economic and environmental feasibility analysis.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
