Abstract The proposed study looks in to the possibility to generate energy from animal manure, by anaerobic digestion process. The analisys, that has started from a sample of a buffalo farm in Frosinone, let us to know the information needed to predict the biogas yield. Finally, a mathematical model has been developed to simulate the process and technical-economical evaluations.
