In recent decades there has been a strong need for scienti?c re?ection on the body intend-ed as a cognitive, affective and relational device. This volume collects the contributions of the speakers who attended the International Symposium on Embodiment & School held in 2019 at the University of Salerno, develops according to a structure that re?ects, chapter by chapter, the topics of the discussed sessions and ends with an appendix of re?ec-tions and perspectives, thanks to the scienti?c contribution of other interested colleagues and experts in this ?eld. It represents a ?rst step for the scienti?c value of the Embodiment phenomenon, so emphasized in the international community, to ?nd fertile ground in the Italian educational context.
