The concept of sustainability, although highlighted in 2015, has more ancient origins. Some intellectuals, including Plinio The Elder and Platone, were already talking about it between the 5th century B.C and the 1st Century A.C. Reflecting about a more generic definition of the concept of sustainability, according to Brundtland Report (1987) the sustainable development is defined as a process of change such that the exploitation of resources, the direction of investment, the orientation of technological development and institutional changes are coherent with future needs as well as with the current ones. Investing in sustainability now it is not only an opportunity since it is a strategic choice and, after the pandemic, the awareness of the importance due to both natural, social and economic environment in which we live is fundamental for the well-being and the construction of new life models. In the Education assessment, the sustainable development can help teachers to let their educational design sustainable too, and help thinking about the impact of an inclusive educational approach. Therefore, it is possible to state that the more inclusive the Project is, the more sustainable it is, but also the opposite, thus determines a reciprocity between inclusion and sustainability.
