A predictive algorithm for current control of inverter fed asynchronous motors suitable for microprocessor implementation is proposed in the paper. It is based on an adequate handling of the mathematical machine model, specified in the sampling interval. It determines the conduction modes of the inverter in each sampling interval in such a way as to obtain a mean value of the stator current space vector equal to the reference one.

Abstract
