With a sociological approach that integrates transdisciplinary contributions, the special issue intends to reflect on which cognitive models can define the new social subjects to outline a newly established social morphology from structures, policies/policies design vision in the post-digital era. Thus, we will try to grasp the enormous complex of issues related to artificial intelligence (of which automation is only one aspect) and post-digitalization for human functions, which all together act in redesigning the future society. Some of the cases addressed will suffer from the impact on work and consumption of the latest technologies, and soon, will see the progressive replacement of the human body with tools with high technological innovation and intelligence. Others will try to determine what tools can protect diversity and reduce inequalities in a society where differences change. Finally, some contributions will focus on the new concept of social responsibility both in relationships between subjects and for the social scientist.
