This study describes the production stages of an axisymmetric component in aluminium AA5083 alloy using a multiphase forming process. Through this technique it is possible to obtain a more uniform thickness of the final product. The design of the multiphase forming process was carried out with a commercial software based on the finite element method.

Abstract
