The objective of this article is to analyse the role of Big Data in the assessment process of the risk component connected with the systemic relations of a company. The goal is to check if exist a possibility to use of the Big Data to identify new risk indicators through the Network Analysis instrument. The literature review on the topic does not completely clarified how and in which environments the Big Data can be used. In consideration of this gap we will try to identify a method for the use of the Big Data with regards to the assessment process of a company risk, with special reference to the specific risk component coming from systemic relations that exist between a company and the context in which it works, operative as well as management related. In light of these considerations, the research question is the following: RQ1. Can the Big Data be considered as an instrument of company risk assessment? Can the Big Data help to assess company risk?
