A simple and effective nonuniform fast Fourier trans- form algorithm is presented. The algorithm is based on the inter- polation of the exponential function in the Fourier transform using efficient truncated expansion algorithms for band-limited func- tions. Examples regarding the far-field evaluation of nonuniformly spaced antenna arrays are provided, and the behavior of the ap- proximation error is analyzed, to confirm the effectiveness of the method.

Abstract
