The paper deals with the problem of modeling the interaction between a classical electromagnetic field and a quantum structure, such as a pair of quantum dots. The scattering from such a structure is modeled in the frame of the circuit theory, by deriving an equivalent circuit model for the system field+quantum dots, that allows the evaluation of the induced displacement electrical currents, i.e. the source for the scattering. A proper circuit model is derived that can also take into account the possibility of entanglement between the two quantum dots, via dipole-dipole coupling

Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of modeling the interaction between a classical electromagnetic field and a quantum structure, such as a pair of quantum dots. The scattering from such a structure is modeled in the frame of the circuit theory, by deriving an equivalent circuit model for the system field+quantum dots, that allows the evaluation of the induced displacement electrical currents, i.e. the source for the scattering. A proper circuit model is derived that can also take into account the possibility of entanglement between the two quantum dots, via dipole-dipole couplingFile in questo prodotto:
