Abstract

In the analysis of the scattering by very large but narrow perfectly electrically conducting (PEC) annular rings, high frequency methods suffer due to the multiple diffraction by the edges and full-wave methods usually require an enormous number of mesh-cells to reconstruct the solution. In order to overcome this problem, in this paper a novel guaranteed and fast convergent full-wave method is proposed.
