The aim of this conference paper is to introduce an effective sampling strategy of the electromagnetic field radiated by sparse sources. The method, called Non Uniform Random Sampling (NURS), performs a random selection of the sampling points in a set of sampling positions obtained using the Non Uniform Sampling strategy developed by Bucci and co-workers. Comparison of the NURS with classic random sampling considering a planar sparse array confirm the effectiveness of the proposed technique.

Abstract
The aim of this conference paper is to introduce an effective sampling strategy of the electromagnetic field radiated by sparse sources. The method, called Non Uniform Random Sampling (NURS), performs a random selection of the sampling points in a set of sampling positions obtained using the Non Uniform Sampling strategy developed by Bucci and co-workers. Comparison of the NURS with classic random sampling considering a planar sparse array confirm the effectiveness of the proposed technique.File in questo prodotto:
