We will study Cassino area, which greatly suffered during World War II, and particularly on the Benedictine Abbey of Montecassino, the town of Cassino, and also on the little town of San Pietro Infine. The Abbey of Montecassino and the town of Cassino were destroyed during World War II by Allied bombing. The Abbey the February 15, 1944, and Cassino, a month after the destruction of the Abbey, on 15 March.San Pietro Infine is a small town on the border between Lazio and Campania, in 1943 was destroyed by 15 days of bombing becoming a heap of rubble.
