The general structure of a simulation tool has been recently proposed, based on the object oriented paradigm, useful to simulate the behavior of economical and technical agents, and their interactions, in different market structures. In this paper, the tool is used to simulate the transmission network management upon the minISO approach. A 73-bus network is considered; different curtailment criteria and loss allocation schemes are compared. The results highlight the viability of the simulation tool, and clearly show how the different criteria impact on the trade proposals.

Abstract
The general structure of a simulation tool has been recently proposed, based on the object oriented paradigm, useful to simulate the behavior of economical and technical agents, and their interactions, in different market structures. In this paper, the tool is used to simulate the transmission network management upon the minISO approach. A 73-bus network is considered; different curtailment criteria and loss allocation schemes are compared. The results highlight the viability of the simulation tool, and clearly show how the different criteria impact on the trade proposals.File in questo prodotto:
