Aim of this work is the analysis of the scattering from perfectly conducting open polygonal cross-section cylinders. The analysis is performed for both TM and TE incidences by solving the Electric Field Integral Equation (EFIE) in the spectral domain. A very efficient version of the Method of Moments (MoM) has been implemented, factorizing the correct edge behavior of the induced currents. As a consequence, only few expansions terms are needed to effectively and accurately evaluate the scattered field.
