A recursive dead time compensation method for Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) structure is proposed in this paper. It achieves a reduction of the VSI total distortion, due to dead time effect, turn-on/off delays, switches and diodes saturation voltages. The compensation strategy is based on a steady-state algorithm, which carries out step-by-step a voltage compensation on the basis of the comparison between reference and actual currents. For slow-dynamic/quasistatic applications, like PV systems, this method allows achieving very high performances with a very low computational requirements.

Abstract
A recursive dead time compensation method for Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) structure is proposed in this paper. It achieves a reduction of the VSI total distortion, due to dead time effect, turn-on/off delays, switches and diodes saturation voltages. The compensation strategy is based on a steady-state algorithm, which carries out step-by-step a voltage compensation on the basis of the comparison between reference and actual currents. For slow-dynamic/quasistatic applications, like PV systems, this method allows achieving very high performances with a very low computational requirements.File in questo prodotto:
