Abstract
For medium-low power applications, Permanent Magnet AC (PMAC) machines drives fed by VSI represent a valid solution. For this kind of motors, in order to expand the speed limit over the base value, a field weakening has to be performed. In this paper, the description of the experimental implementation of a control algorithm which extend the machine speed range of a PMAC machine is presented. Experimental results confirm the feasibility of the experiment layout, of the proposed approach and the possibility of achieving very high dynamic performances.File in questo prodotto:
