In this article we propose a framework to compare the management perception of tangible and intangible value drivers’(VDs) impact on Competitive Advantage (CA) with a holistic assessment of the investments made on them. The VDs’ impact on CA is assessed through an implementation of the Analytic Network Process, while the assessment of the organization’s cumulative investments on each VD is based on pairwise comparisons. The comparison of the two assessments allows drawing conclusions about the strategic coherence and awareness of the organization. The framework proposed in this article can support the top management in an in-depth comprehension of the VDs of organizations, providing useful suggestions to improve its strategic management.

Abstract
In this article we propose a framework to compare the management perception of tangible and intangible value drivers’(VDs) impact on Competitive Advantage (CA) with a holistic assessment of the investments made on them. The VDs’ impact on CA is assessed through an implementation of the Analytic Network Process, while the assessment of the organization’s cumulative investments on each VD is based on pairwise comparisons. The comparison of the two assessments allows drawing conclusions about the strategic coherence and awareness of the organization. The framework proposed in this article can support the top management in an in-depth comprehension of the VDs of organizations, providing useful suggestions to improve its strategic management.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
