A calibration method able to subtract the response of the connector in the measurement of the reflection coefficient of monopole- like antennas is presented. The method uses a set of straight monopole antennas as reference loads for calibration using a vector network anal- yser. The experimental example of a double-iterated fractal Koch mono- pole confirms the effectiveness of the technique proposed.
