Air pollution and effects on human health are well known. This book analyzes in detail the air quality in urban areas of the province of Frosinone, by analyzing the sources of pollutant gases. The authors' goal is to identify policies and intervention strategies to contain and reduce pollution. in favor of environmental protection and sustainable development. The policy interventions proposed in the text, in addition to the incentives for reducing the use of vehicles in certain urban locations, also include the upgrading through the renewal of car fleets, with particular preference for the means to lower environmental impact.
