A full-automatic hardware/software tool for parameters identification of an induction motor fed by a voltage source inverter is proposed. It is based on a DSP control board, an acquisition unit and an user-friendly software tool which allows an easy and fully automatic induction motor parameter identification to be run at the start up of the drive. The validity and feasibility of the proposed set-up have been confirmed by experimental implementation. In particular, two induction motors of standard construction have been tested and the results compared with the ones achieved by means of a traditional identification method.

Abstract
A full-automatic hardware/software tool for parameters identification of an induction motor fed by a voltage source inverter is proposed. It is based on a DSP control board, an acquisition unit and an user-friendly software tool which allows an easy and fully automatic induction motor parameter identification to be run at the start up of the drive. The validity and feasibility of the proposed set-up have been confirmed by experimental implementation. In particular, two induction motors of standard construction have been tested and the results compared with the ones achieved by means of a traditional identification method.File in questo prodotto:
