This stage has been proposed for operation with low voltage input photovoltaic panels. The paper discusses the sizing strategies and basic control considerations that can optimize system efficiency achieving over 97% efficiency between 50% to 80% of maximum load. The paper also considers solar panel sizing strategies to achieve maximum efficiency.

Abstract

This paper examines experimental data obtained from a DC-DC stage proposed to supply a Current source inverter structure.
