Emocional’noe sostojanie geroev i sredstva ich jazykovogo vyraženija v poetike povesti A.P. Čechova “Tri goda” [Emotional State of Characters and Means of their linguistic expression in Poetics of the Long Story by A.P. Chekhov's Three Years]

The article is devoted to the study of the artistic manner of A.P. Chekhov' in depicting the emotional state of characters in his works. An attempt to consider one of the main lines of the narrative - the relationships between the main characters of the story - reveals both the real significance of this phenomenon in people's lives, and the art of the author in his artistic presentation. Love and hate find living embodiment in those "scenes" that represent the actual plot of the long story, but do not limit it. It also includes such an important and relevant topic: inner life of a person-entrepreneur, a cultured, educated person in conditions of high social significance of the existence of the sphere of trade and entrepreneurship. Emerging features of an "atypical merchant", manifested both in his behavior, close relationships, and in blunt judgments and thoughts presented in the author's narration, clearly indicate one of the socio-psychological problems of modern society, presented in artistic form.
