Wireless communications have grown rapidly during the last decades, up to the currently deployed fifth generation and the upcoming sixth generation. The frequency spectrum is distributed among (almost) all the deployed generations, each giving a contribution to the field level. The goal of this paper is to analyze the contribution of the different generations, in a case study represented by the town of Cassino, a small city in central Italy, halfway between Rome and Naples. Twenty locations have been selected and three measurements sessions have been carried out in different days, The analysis has shown a good stability of the field levels among the sessions, with the exception of a few locations. In any case, the field level was far below the legal limit.

Abstract
Wireless communications have grown rapidly during the last decades, up to the currently deployed fifth generation and the upcoming sixth generation. The frequency spectrum is distributed among (almost) all the deployed generations, each giving a contribution to the field level. The goal of this paper is to analyze the contribution of the different generations, in a case study represented by the town of Cassino, a small city in central Italy, halfway between Rome and Naples. Twenty locations have been selected and three measurements sessions have been carried out in different days, The analysis has shown a good stability of the field levels among the sessions, with the exception of a few locations. In any case, the field level was far below the legal limit.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
