A dynamic equivalent magnetic network (EMN) model of 36 slots 8 poles external rotor permanent magnet synchronous hub motor (ERPMSHM) considering the distributed winding with fractional slot and the nonlinearity of the iron core material is established in this paper. Reluctance network (RN) consisted of diamond grid cells is adopted to deal with the air gap. The rationality of the EMN and the accuracy of the calculation results are verified by the finite element method (FEM) and EMN.

Abstract
