The research project, with a multidisciplinary approach, analyses the determinants of the experiential tourism sector, with particular interest in outdoor sports tourism, by profiling and studying the distinctive characteristics of consumers. To this end, the project develops both a theoretical-interpretative model of the demand for experiential tourism and an empirical investigation aimed at its validation by means of descriptive statistical analysis. The data collected through the administration of a questionnaire to users of the services offered by "Adventureland s.r.l.", a company operating in Cassino in the sports/experiential tourism sector, were used. The analysis begins by exploring the demand for tourism services, its evolution and the different facets of the sector. Emphasis is placed on the role of the territory in tourism development and the strategies of Destination Management Organisations (DMOs) for the optimal management of destinations. It then focuses on experiential sports tourism, examining the literature on entrepreneurship in this field and the elements of behavioural economics that influence the decisions of both entrepreneurs and consumers. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of the sports tourist, examining the role of human capital, defined as a combination of education, experiences and personality traits, and the social and relational context. The fourth chapter deals specifically with outdoor sports tourism, considered an emerging phenomenon that merges sport and tourism activities, offering a unique and dynamic experience. The project uses approximately 5,000 questionnaires to identify the main factors driving the demand for experiential sports tourism services, with a focus on the influence of the Big Five personality traits on tourism choices, providing new perspectives on how these traits influence the preferences and behaviour of outdoor sports tourists. In conclusion, the study aims to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary analysis of outdoor sport tourism, offering significant insights into tourist behaviour and marketing strategies in the sector and assessing how personality traits, according to the Big Five Model, influence the preferences and behaviour of outdoor sport tourists.

Abstract
In conclusion, the study aims to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary analysis of outdoor sport tourism, offering significant insights into tourist behaviour and marketing strategies in the sector and assessing how personality traits, according to the Big Five Model, influence the preferences and behaviour of outdoor sport tourists.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
