In recent years, the capital market for SMEs has been at the center of strong interest from market operators, the academic world and institutions. The objective of this thesis is to analyze the peculiar aspects of the stock market dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises and the real advantages deriving from listing. In addition to the financial aspects, the company that decides to go public benefits from: greater visibility, increased reputation and standing, ability to attract talent and managers, easier access to bank credit. The analyzes conducted on a specific panel of listed companies concerned some of the main economic-financial data and indicators in the pre- and post-listing phase.
