This paper aims to analyze the issue of the evaluation of the registration rights relating to sports performance of the players through an approach of empirical sufficient to monitor the correspondence between the market price and economic value. In particular, the work explores the possible estimation methods, identifying one that seems to suit one's statements. This methodology is applied to a case study to appreciate the reliability and suitability to serve as a guide for the identification of the theoretical price of reference to be paid for the acquisition of ownership of the rights object of analysis.
