The Sorrentina Peninsula is a densely populated area with high touristic impact. It is located in a morphologically complex zone of Southern Italy frequently affected by dangerous and calamitous landslides. In order to improve the landslides hazard zonation, we present a methodological approach to identify the area more prone to generate these calamitous events. Our approach is based on the combination of different remote sensing analyses. The ground displacement maps obtained by applying interferometric techniques to COSMO-SkyMed and Envisat data identify deformation areas subsequently investigated by photogeological interpretation and field check. The land cover mapping obtained by satellite high-medium resolution data are combined with morphometric parameters derived from high spatial resolution Digital Elevation Model. The elaborations are performed in a GIS environment and provides the map classifying the areas according to different landslides susceptibility degrees.

Abstract
The elaborations are performed in a GIS environment and provides the map classifying the areas according to different landslides susceptibility degrees.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
