We are pleased to introduce this special issue on “Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering: Theory and Application using AHP/ANP.” This special issue contains eight outstanding technical and methodological papers that collectively present a diverse range of research and practical application topics within the field of multicriteria decision analysis particularly focused on Analytic Hierarchy Process. One of the papers did appear earlier in vol 24: 3–4 (May/August 2017) of this journal (Rakesh Garg, “Optimal selection of E‐learning websites using multiattribute decision‐making approaches”). The other seven papers compose the current issue.
