Abstract

The aim of the paper it’s to present the HeGo Project. The project Hego – HeritageGO proposes the analysis and knowledge of the BBCC through a participatory process based on the interaction of the user through a digital interaction that calls the structure of an online videogame. Exploiting social involvement, the project foresees the creation of a computer platform capable to make automatically three-dimensional scientific graphic models of architectural, archaeological or urban heritage, based on the raw data supplied directly by the unqualified users. The contribution required to the users is the onsite acquisition of digital images, taken with the most common digital media today in use (smartphones, digital cameras, ipads etc), and the download within the servers of the platform. The user who enters the system with his digital photos are assigned scores that can vary based on the amount of photos entered and the location. The main user involvement it’s the search for the various sites linked to a path; Following the user will come into contact with various Cultural Heritage, deepening the knowledge and contributing to their valorization. The project sees the collaboration of the University of Cassino, University of Rome Tor Vergata and Sapienza University of Rome.
