Innovazione e sanità nel dibattito dello spazio europeo

The change in contemporary social and health care structure prompts us to pose some basic questions about the economic crisis, the impact on health systems and citizens, the manner in which these factors are linked to a social innovation in the health care services’ context. Although the outlook on this last subject brings to the transformation that took place via the digital society, it is not the only useful interpretation furnishing a new perspective to the placement of the future society. The role offered by the policies, both European and national, will be clarified and a brief overview on the meaning of social innovation will be provided in the different facets that it can take in the social-health care field.
