In today's cross-cultural business community a wide range of skills are necessary in order to win confidence and fluency. Business English teachers need to be at the forefront of a constantly changing technological world and so need to widen their range of resources and diversify materials in order to prepare students for their career paths. This paper aims to show that carefully selected case studies and problem-solving activities enhance motivation and confidence by acquiring the necessary language skills to face real life situations. This particularly when dealing with topics of social significance linking language learning to an authentic global environment.

Abstract
